Alpina offered 4 major versions of the E30 over the course of the model’s production run, and each had a number of sub-versions with varying engine capacities, power outputs, and performance options. Starting with the C1, there was also a C2, a B3, and a B6.
One of the most striking components of the Alpina cars were their iconic livery. The blocked bands stretched the length of the cars, either as uni-colour metallic geometric shapes, or the company's famous green and blue colours. The livery also came in metallic pin-stripes.
